Since 2018 workshops were provided for the targeted population through Obsessions Gifts until MPAC was formed in 2020. MPAC then began providing the workshops. The art workshops infuse social competencies; entrepreneurship; enhancement of friendships; and confidence. We believe in inclusion and our art workshops are for everyone.

Why these programs
MPAC and Obsessions Gift Shop gives opportunities to persons with unique abilities so they and others can see their talents and potential. Statistics have shown a higher rate of unemployment or underemployment with persons on the Autism Spectrum. It also should be noted there is a lower job retention rate among persons with Autism due to social communication deficits. Currently more employers are beginning to hire persons with disabilities. We want to offer opportunities to enhance employment and entrepreneurship.
Personally we created Obsessions to provide an opportunity for financial stability and leadership for my daughter. I saw how beneficial it was for my daughter and we then started MPAC to offer opportunities to others.
